Nuevas Fronteras Spanish Immersion Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through fifth grades and is part of SoWashCo Schools. Nuevas Fronteras Spanish Immersion Elementary School is the beginning of SoWashCo Schools K-12 Spanish Immersion Pathway.

All schools are closed TOMORROW, Friday, Jan. 23, due to the cold weather. Students should not report to school. All online learning activities are canceled and no new assignments will be posted.

- English as a Second Language, at least Intermediate Level
- 17+ older
- Not currently enrolled in K-12 schools
- When: Monday-Thursday 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Dec. 15-March 5
- March 16-May 28

Families with incoming kindergarteners are invited to attend Kindergarten Welcome Night from 5-6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5, at their boundary school.

Some students in grades 4–8 and all 9th-grade students will take an online reading test called Capti ReadBasix this January. This is required by the state’s MN READ Act.
